Whatever setup you have now should be all you need to get started. You don’t want to be splashing out huge amounts of money on a setup only to find out that streaming isn’t for you a few months later. Once you’ve tried your hand at streaming though, if you decide that it’s something you want to do more of, then it’s probably time to upgrade a few things. Twitch is a great tool for killing time to having a full-time job.

Recently Streamlabs created a ‘Safe-Mode’ button that can be found at the top of your recent events dashboard (the little shield icon). Safe mode enables you to trigger multiple items from the list above all at once with the flick of a switch. If you don’t have a stream deck this is the next best thing as a Streamlabs user – especially if you have cloudbot installed.

What is ‘Followbotting’ (Twitch Follow Bot Spamming)

We want to use around 75% of your upload speed, as the game and other programs such as Discord will also fight for bandwidth. On your streamlabs dashboard, head over to “All Widgets” and then “Chat Box”. The minimum message setting controls how many message must have been received between the last execution of the timed trigger and now. If you want multiple tier’s of subscriptions to trigger the command, you should create a trigger per tier. For example in the below both tier 1 and tier 2 subscriptions will trigger the command. The donation trigger causes the command to execute whenever a user cheers a matching amount in your stream.

There is a way to mass remove followers from your account on twitch but it must be used VERY carefully or you may end up deleting your entire follower count! It’s better to have a lower number of real followers, than have a higher number of fake/bot ones. Both of your two scenes will contain the Source “Capture 1” we added earlier. Even if you change the selected table in one of them, it will change in the other as well. At the bottom of the timer settings page there’s a link to copy for a browser source in Streamlabs or OBS. Create a browser source, put that as the URL and then fit the timer into your scene how you see fit. When a timer is started it will show on stream, and it will be hidden when no timers are active. Bots were created for Twitch to help streamers with their chat moderation, making it easier for them to focus on creating content and streaming. While some people have human moderators in chat, bots offer a simple (and usually free) way of speedily keeping your chat organised and moderated.
